Analytics Philosophy
Meticulous analysis of the effectiveness of each watch list is achieved by using them personally. When an algorithm or indicator turns less effective the reason why is researched and tweaked and adjusted so that effectiveness can either be restored or the indicator or algorithm is replaced.
The stock market is fluid and a company's earnings are not the only factor that determines market sentiment for its stock. Some companies that beat earnings still drop in price, and some companies with no earnings rise in price. Vigilance is needed to make sure that signals and indicators that once worked are continuing to work by giving the same consistent signals in anticipation of a rising or falling price.
Most Excellent Investor is committed to maintaining and improving the analytics behind the production of each and every watch list on this site. Thus ensuring that the stock trading of each member is indeed upgraded by use of this site.
